Do I Need A Referral?

• A referral from a Doctor is not required unless you would like to benefit from the Medicare Scheme (see rebates information below).

Are Medicare and Private Health Rebates Available?

• Medicare rebates may apply if you are referred by a GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist

• Private Health Fund rebates available. The rebate amount varies between funds.

• Student and pensioner discounts available.

What Are The Fees?

• The cost of a standard consultation (approx 50 minutes) varies according to the services offered.
• Fees are payable at the end of each session.
• Payments may be made by cash, cheque, eftpos or credit card

What do I bring to the first session? 

• You are welcome to bring copies of school reports, other psychological reports or test results from other health specialists.
• We will also need a copy of your GP Mental health care plan or referral letter (if applicable).

What if I have to Cancel?

• If for some reason you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, a minimum of one working day's notice is required. Otherwise you will be charged a cancellation fee.

• Late arrivals: Your therapist will wait for up to 15 minutes, however after this time the appointment is considered to be cancelled.
